For several years now, the Stone Workers' Meeting within the Visual Arts Section at the Goetheanum has taken place in the summer in the immediate neighborhood of a quarry (Trieste, Azzano, southern France, Sölk, St. Margareten, etc.). The peculiarity (surface, color, size, hardness and softness, etc.) of the stone is in the focus, which can also be felt or reflected in culture and landscape. To explore this should be the method to get the stone's shape, which it dreams but can never achieve itself.

This year we will meet again in Laas (South Tirol/ Vinschgau), with an open view to the mountain from which the Laas marble is quarried. We will live together in the so-called "Rimpfhöfe", which also includes a beautiful painting studio.

Arrival: Sunday, July 17, 2022 at about 5 p.m.
at the Rimpfhöfe, an old mountain farm on the Vinschgauer Sonnenberg in South Tirol/Italy at 1500m above Schlanders/Laas.
Departure: Sunday, July 31, 2022 around noon
