Dear artist friends!

We would like to inform you about the successor for the leadership of the Visual Arts Section.

A Commission ( Willi Grass, Stefan Hasler, Claudia Schlürmann, Dino Wendtland, and in the beginning, Christiane Haid) was set up in January 2019 to propose a successor for Marianne Schubert, who is going to retire from the leadership of the section in January 2020. More than 30 people were addressed and some detailed discussions took place. Until summer 2019 the finding commission had not yet come to a recommendation.

In the September meeting, the GL decided to assign Christiane Haid, in addition to the Section for the Fine Arts, to head the Section for the Visuel Arts for a period of three years from 1 of January 2020. She will apoint a team of experts of the various disciplines. At the end of 2022, a new decision will be taken for the leadership of the Section.
