The new Preparation Pavilion is located in the midst of the lovingly designed gardens in the immediate area of the Goetheanum, which impress with their diversity of useful and ornamental plants and centuries-old horticultural art. Yaike Dunselman's design impressed the jury at the ICONIC AWARDS 2025 and emerged as the winner in the Architecture category – in both the Event & Exhibition and Circular Design sections.

The preparation pavilion not only enables the production and processing of biodynamic preparations, but also provides a platform for presentations and workshops on the topic of sustainable agriculture. The new building on the Goetheanum grounds creates a covered outdoor space where gardeners can produce and present biodynamic preparations. A characteristic feature is the large, organically curved roof, whose twisted wooden rafters are reminiscent of a blossoming flower. Its tectonic design references the neighbouring Heizhaus designed by Rudolf Steiner and blends naturally into the surrounding landscape.
